A career to help people

My dream since i was a child was always helping whoever needs it, because that makes me very happy. I thought about different areas, such as mathematics, medicine, and psychology, but,  finally, when I was in my last year of high school, I went to a talk at the University of Chile, on the Juan Gomez Milla campus, and I found my career: Dentistry. I think that if I had not studied dentistry, I would have studied something with numbers, because I really liked mathematics, but I do not regret my choice.
 
I think I would like to work indoors, because that way I will be able to help many people who need it more, being able to travel to rural areas or with less access to this health service. As I said before, I would like to travel to places with difficult access to a dentist, and by the way know many places and customs that I still do not know within the country, so it is an idea that I am very excited to carry it out. As for income, I do not consider myself someone very attached to money, so for me it is something secondary, having the necessary instruments and the support of my future workplace I am happy.

I would like to continue studying after graduating, but at the moment I do not have a special specialty or master's degree in particular (I find it difficult to choose with so many things that I like, it will give me a rush and I will study all the specialties hahaha), but, my mision is help people who need my services.


I chose dentistry because they help many people, giving and building smiles in people who for various reasons lost teeth and were affected in terms of their appearance. I valore this so much, for this reason I
entered to study this beautiful career at the University of Chile.
Today, I am in my second year studying dentistry, and  i hope, in the near future, to complete my main motivation, and to see many people happy for something I did for them, be it for a sealant, a cleaning or the construction of a dental prosthesis, thus increasing the smiles of their.

Blog III: My favorite hobby

 My favorite Hobby: Play videogames In all my life, i have looked for how to entertain myself: reading mangas, listening to music, watching series, but none have entertained me as much as playing video games. I entered in the world of video games from a very young age (5 years if memory serves me correctly), because an aunt, who lives in the United States gave me a game boy advance. This console came with a game, which to this day is my favorite, its name is Pokemon Ruby. From 2005 to the present I have had many consoles and I have played a large number of video games, but I took a special affection for this one (In fact, I still have it). When I play, my mind gets lost and concentrates on the video game that I am watching, and honestly, I lose track of time (sometimes this has brought me problems, but those are things that happen hehe).  Another thing that I like is that I usually focus on the main character, imagining that I am him, either in an RPG such as pokemon...

Blog VI: My future plans

 The plan of a lost soul. Good afternoon everybody! Today is the last English blog, is it a sad day? Possibly... The topic is interesting? Of course. Since I am a college student, I've heard a question repeatedly, and I've never found a specific answer: What do you plan to do after graduation? After I get my degree, (as I mentioned in the previous blog) I would like to continue studying for a postgraduate degree; I have not yet decided on a specific specialty but I have some in mind, such as orthodontics, pediatric dentistry and forensic dentistry, but lately I'm more interested in this last option, because in my opinion it is a very important branch of dentistry, because as you know, thanks to techniques of forensic dentistry is that indirectly was founded our faculty, thanks to German Valenzuela Basterrica, who identified a body by analyzing the teeth of this and avoided a war of interests with Germany (a long history...). This is very interesting for me becau...
